National Leaders of Education and National Support Schools (NLEs and NSS)
National Leaders of Education (NLEs) are outstanding headteachers, principals, executive heads or chief executives who use their skills and experience to support other schools in challenging circumstances to develop their leadership capacity and help raise standards. NLEs are designated with their school which becomes a national support school (NSS).
We are pleased to have an NLE working within PLN, available for school to school support.

Local Leaders of Education (LLEs)
Local Leaders of Education (LLEs) are successful headteachers with a track record of effectively supporting other schools with the capacity to work alongside other headteachers to drive forward improvements which can be sustained. The aim of the LLE programme is to improve pupil outcomes through partnership working between schools and academies.

Following a successful application LLEs will attend an induction day which will take place during the spring term.
